Monday 3rd November 2003
The legendry Sonny Knowles came to BarCuba to watch the band on his birthday,but he was in for a surprise because Mischa Langemeijer had called in sick and Sonny was persuaded to sit in at second alto. He had the time of his life and the crowd loved him. He was playing with a borrowed sax and borrowed glasses and afterwards said" that is the best birthday present I have ever had and the best band I have ever played with".
